ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary meeting of the Mau« riceville Road Board was •: eld o Saturday! "April 25th. Present— Messss G. Gunderson (Chairman), Forsberg and Drew. Tbe minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and correspondence outwards, Letters were received from Messrs Dickson and Buick re felling bush on fencing line leading to their sections. —lt was decided that the Chairman make inquiries and do what can be done, Mr Mackay wrote asking permission to remove firewood from road leading to his section,—G rant ed. From Mr Gordon Cumming reporting damage to culvert on C. Mangamahoe Road. Various letters from Government departments re loans. From Mr Rawson re plan ef road through section 118. It was resolved to call lor tenders for fencing Johnston's road, and that the Chairman arrange to get bridle track made. Mr Gunderson was authorised to get repairs affected on South road, and Mr Jackson on Jackson's road, Cheques amounting to £99 15s 8d were passed, Rates collected £l7 J)s d, cash in hand £94215s 7d.
