"VTOTICE is hereby given that elections to till vacancies in subdivisions 1 and 2 of the Masterton Road District, created by the retirement by ballot of Messrs DAGG and Mcl'EOD, will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 6th day of May, 1891. Nominations of Candidates will be reoeived at this office, (where forms may be obtained) until noon on WEDNESDAY, the 29th inst. OTICE is hereby given that the Electoral Rolls and Defaulters' Lists for tbe several ridings will be open for poblic inspection during office hours at these chambers from 27th inst to the 15th May next. Copies of the Rolls and Lists may also be seen as follows : For the Mastertan Riding at the Road Board Office, Mauriceville; Mr Wilton'B store, Bide • ford ; and Mr O. H. Osborne's store, Dreyerton. OBJECTIONS to the said rolls must be lodged in writing at the R.M. Court nearest to the place where the Riding Roll is kept, on or before the 31st day of May. Notice of the times and places of the sitting of the Court to hear objections will be given at a future date. Ratepayers are specially reminded that those whose names still remain on the Defaulters Lists after the rolls are finally made up in June will be disqualified from participating in any election which may occur during the twelve months commencing on latjj July, 1891.
