Lost Overboard.
Dunedin, April 23. The flauroto, from Newcastle direct, arrived to-day, and reports that on the sGtb, when in lat. 47.45 S, long 156.'5 i' fi/Joseph Oakely, A.g,, fell- overboard 'while wdshing the davits of the port lifeboat. A lifebuoy was thrown "from the poop, ihe engines'stopped and reversed,' und a boat lowered. 'The boat picked' up the lifebuoy? b.ut "9 fr* o6 was fl ? und of the unfortunate man, and after nearly an hour had been bpont in the search the Bteamer resumed her voyage.
