The Shelly Bay ExplosionWellington, Thursday. The inquiry on the Shelly Bay explosion was tesumed this morning. Captain Faulkner, in charge of the torpedo station, said he found the p.-imers had, by some misunderstanding, been made larger than he had ordered, also the circular had been issued by the War Office in 1886, providing for the use of soldering irons with gun cotton. He did not, kowever, believe it was dangerous to use them with care. Mr Jellicoe asked whether the primers Ross was making were to remove the rocks at the island Nawau, but counsel objecting, the question was not allowed to be put. '
