Oa Stanley ! On n (To the Editor,) Sir.—Would you kindly allow me space in your valuable paper to contradict the report which is spread about this district that I am a married man. I am neither married, nor am I likely to be, and I warn anyone that should £ hear any more scandalous reports I shall take steps to bring the authors to justice. I consider such reports are damaging to mycharaoter, and a shame and disgrace to the author.—l am, etc., Walteb Ernest £t/.mey. East Coast, April 3rd, 1891.
