NEW BILLS.
The Work of next Session. [By Telegraph] (United Press Association,) '' Wellington/Friday. I l The following, are the principal Bills which the Government propose to introduce next session :—Legislative Council Reform, Consolidation and Amendment of the Electoral Laws Boards of Conciliation, Native Lands, West Coast Settlement Reserves, Public Trust Office Bill (to be founded on the report of the commission), Labor Bills, Truck Employer's Liabil - ity,and Factory and Shops Bill. The Cabinet will be engaged in the con- . sideration of. these measures next week, The Electoral Bill is intended to complete the one man oae vote system by applying it to bye elections, and requiring the elector to register in one district only. A publio holiday is to be declared on the day of the general election to give every man a chance to vote. After elections the roll will be purged by taking off the name of every man who did not vote. This, it is anticipated, will induce every man who can to vote. Every/facility will be given for the registration of electors. A Bankruptcy Bill will also be introduced. Ai Advisary Council is now engaged drawing up a scheme for the classification of the Civil Service. It has been thought an advisable thing to bring in a fresh Bill on the subject. It is thought power already existß under the old ActKK.= ■"■'
