ARREST OF LEADING RIOTERS.
INCENDIARISM BY UNIONISTS
Brisbane, March 24,
A number of leading agitators concerned in the recent disturbances have been arrested. A man named Martin, who used disgraceful language concerning the Queen and Acting-Governor, while addressing a meeting at Barcaldine, is being proceeded against for seditious libel. Maroh 25. Unionists aro trailing fire-sticks through the country in the vicinity of Barcaldine and Clermont, but the heavy rain, which have been falling the last few days are fortunately extinguishing the fires. Bodies of military are following up the Unionists.
