Mr David Crewe, who is on his way to the Old Country, has forwarded from Lyttelton his resignation as a County Councillor. The new Clerk of the R. M. Court has established regular hours of attendance at the office for the convenience of those wishing to do business with him. He may be found at the office between 10 and 1 daily. The football season opens here on Friday, with n match against the Tutaekara natives. On Easter Monday the local team journeys to Eketahuna to try conclusions with that club. They will be entertained here in the 6vening at the Footballers' Ball.
