This window js replete with the latest novelties for ladies' winter wear—handsome llussian fur-lined cloak*? in black and various colore, new silk mackintoshes in stylish patterns. Newmarket ulsters and travelling coats in quite new shapes, short cloth j jackets beaver trimmed, braided and corded, also with plush arid eealette sleeves and collars, a large assortment of sealette and plushette jackets, the leading line for the wmter. New "Beatrice" end "Fife " jackets with reversible beaver trimmed mantles in seal and mantalasse. Then comes THE DKESS WINDOW, which Mr Cooper has nicely arranged. It contains an endless variety .of charming fabrica suitable for the autumn and' winter seasons The prevailing sfyles appear to hn rough makes of Cheviot tweed and serges. Some very handsome rpbes with trimmings of rich brocade have a striking effect. The colours are chiefly in fawns,. greys, terra cottas and Mendings of full rich opposite tints. In the centre, principal doorway was an immense stack of dress Meltons, which are made especially to Mr Smith's order, in all the useful colors, well suited for a durable dress, at an economical price. Coming to the FANCY WINDOW which Mr Spence had prettily dressed, we notice that conspicuous in this window is a grand dispUy of furs, comprisiug the latest novelties in princesses, idalias, and boas, in seal beaver, marrin tad, oppossuui, bear, skunk, kangaroo, llama, thibet, chinchilla, sable, etc. There iB also a effective show of ribbons, prominent amongst which is the new fancy check and stripe ribbon velvets. In umbrellas there is shown a splendid variety, amongst which istobesien the celebrated " Utopia," also the "Beacon/" " Durable," &c. In kid gloves the well known makes, " Mane," " Fritz," and " Orient" occupy a prominent place. In new dress trimmings there is likewise a fine display of choice goods, including new fancy aprons in zephyr, muslin j embroidered, and black satin.
