Domestic Tragedy.

A serhus shooting affray took place at Narandeia (N.S.W.) on Saturday evening, when a man named John Brown made a murderous attack on his wife and family, wounding his daughter so seriously that no hopes are entertained of her recovery. Brown was formerly rabbiting at liillston; but came to Naranderaabout two months ago. Latterly he had been employed on one of the stations in the neighbourhood, and had been living apart from his wife,who became intimate with a man named George Adams, and went to live with him. Brown heard of her infidelity, and went into the township on Saturday atternoon with the avowed intention of revenging himself. He purchased a six chambered rovolver, and then proceeded to whore his wife and Adams were living, walked into the house, shut the door and looked it, and asked Adams to turn Mrs Brown and her children out. Adams refused, and Brown then iired at him the ball going through his' ear. Brown afterwards fired at his wife, the bullet just grazing the top of her head. He then fired two shots at his daughter, sixteen yean old, one ball entering her shoulder blade and the other passing through her leg. Brown then fired at his son, but luckily missed him. After the six chambers were discharged he be'at his wife about the head with the revolver, and while in tli9 act of doing so he was taken into custody. All the wounded people were taken to tLe hospital except the most serious case, tlaat of the daughter.
