Mr Parnell addressed a meeting at Cork to-day attended by over 50,000 people and was received with great enthusiasm.

At a banquet held by those who have seceded from Mr Parnell'a leadership, Mr Justin M'CarthjJ presided. Cardinal Manning wrote to the chairman expressing his agreement with the action taken by the Irish Bishops relative to affairs in Ireland.

Referring to Home Rule, Mr Gladstone, in his speech at Hastings, said his views on the subject had not undergone any change. Quebec, March 18.

It is said that Montreal residents will support Mr Parnell to the backbone.
