Tho above meeting was I day on the Grey town Reserve. The, weather was all that could be desired, being neither too warm or too cold, Thero were about six hundred people present, £29 being taken at tho. gates. Webster, who desePMtftpeeial praise for the energy disppd by him in carrying out the sports. Tho Greytown brass band, under Mr Varnham's leadership, played several pieces during the afternoon.
