[To THE EdITOB,] Sib,—lt is a matter of great regret that the customary St Patrick's day_ holiday has been partly interfered with through one of our leading tradesmen refusing to observe the holiday as has been usual in yeais gone by. We, as shop assistants, had all made ow arrangements for a whole holiday, and then to be frustrated is a matter which will not, I hope, commend the particular tradesman who is responsible for it, to publio support, I am, etc., Shop Assistant.
