Nom. 1 sov, accept. 3 sov. Ladies Purse Hack Handicap, of 25 sovs, second horse to receive 6 sovs from the stakes; horses to be nominated by ladies. Minimum weight 9st; distance mile ; nom. 10s, accept. 10s. Selling Race, (open) of 30 soys. The winner to be sold with all engagements immediately alter the race for 30 sovs Top weight 9st. No sexual allowance. 71bs allowed for every £5 off selling price, the surplus if any to be equally divided between the second horse and the funds of the Club. Distance 1 mile. Entrance 30s. NOTE, — "Owners mvst state at time of entry, the price their horse is to be sold for, or they will be allotted top weight." Flying Handicap, (open), of 40 sovs ; second horse to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. The winner of the W.C R.C. Handicap to carry a penalty of 71bs. Distance once round, about 7 furlongs. Nomination 1 sov ; Acceptance 1 sovs. Hack Flying Handicap, of 20 sovs ; second horse to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. The Metropolitan Rules of New Zealand will be strictly adhered to. Colors, Pedigree, and performances must accompany entries in all caseß. Five per cent deducted from gross amount of all stakes. •' Hack" shall mean a horse that has never won a race of oyer 40 sovs, and that is not engaged in any Derby, Guineas, Oaks, or St. Leper at time of nomination. Tiie work to be undertaken is forming a road through section 137, Block X, Puketoi Survey District. The amount proposed to be borrowed is £2OO. The amount to be set apart in each year towards paying off the loan is £l2 2s.
