ROAD BOARD.
A meeting ot the Gastlepojnt Road Board was held on Saturday last,
Present: Msers Maunaell (chairman), Nicholls, Langdon, and Sutherland. * The minutes of the previous meeting read and confirmed. J?he Treasurer rsported balanc in BankLl22»B.
Letters were read—From Property tax Commissioner re applying for a par centage of .subsidy. Mr J. A. Perry, ro piles for jyowe r Tipui bridge
Mr Walter McKenzie, re conveyance of land for a road. Mr Nevins, re improving fords in Whayeama river, Mr H. W. Leach, applying for grant to make a ford in Waicawhiti river. Mr H. Holmes, re road to fords. Resolved—That a sum ofLlObe voted in aid of the work required liy the Messrs Leach, and that L2O be voted to improve the fords in Whareama river.
Accounts amoauting to Lls 6s Gd were passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned.
