Nominations for all Handicaps, with the exception nf the Forced Handicap, will dose with the Secretary at the Club Hotel, on THUBBDAY, sth March, at 9 p.m., or on the arrivall of the late train from Wellington. Wefchu declared on SATUBDAY, 7th of March, at 9 p.m. Acceptances for. all Handicaps, with the exception of the Forced Handicap, and Entries for the Maiden and Selling Races, close with the Secretary at the Clab Hotel on SATURor on arrival of train from Wellington, RULES AND~BiGULATIONS All races at this Meeting are confined to Hacks only, "Hacks" shall mean any horse that has not other than Hack Babes during the present Baring Season All Races to be run under the rules ofracin?. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race has been ran, with a deposit of jK, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found frivolous or vexatious. Ho scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and thirty ruinates before the time of starting.
