I. The work to be undertaken is metalling on the Eketahuna-Tiraumea section of the Eketahutia Tenui Road. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £G3S, and the amount to be set apart in each y earthwards paying off the Loan is £3l 15s Od. To meet the interest and annual charges on the Loan it is proposed to pledge part of the receipts from a Toll to be established on the said road, and in addition thereto a special rate 23-80ths <if a penny in the £ on the rateable value for the time bein<r of the rateable properties contained within the following arua that is to say : —commencing at the nothernniosc corner ot section Gl, 31ock VIII, Mangaone S.D., and proceeding Southwards bounded by the Eastern boundaries of sections Gl, G2, G3, G4, and part of 6i>, in the last mentioned Block to the northern boundary of 59, Block V, Puketoi, thence by the northern boundary of the last mentioned section and section G3 in the same Block and the northern boundary of section 58, Block IX, to the Tiraumea river, thence by the Tiraumea riyer to a point where the eastern boundary of section 163 in the same Block produced northwards would intersect the said river, thence by a straight line to the North Eastern i corner of said section IG3, thence by sections 162, 159, 179, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18,.16, 15, 14, 13.12. BkcklX, Puketoi by the township of Allredton, by sections 78, 79. Block XII, by section 78 part of College Reserve, part of section 82 sections 150 and 149 and by the southern j boundary of section 148, Block XVI to its south westermost corner, thence by the said southern boundary produced till it intersects the boundary between the AHredton and Eketahuna Road Districts in Block XV, thence proceed ing northwards by the last mentioued boundary to section 27 Block XI, thence i by sections 27, 26, 10, 9. 8, 7, Block XI, 43. 42, 30, 30a, 31, Block VII, Section j 1, Block VIII, by a road reserve, by section 215, Blocks XII and VIII to the Ihurawa stream, by the said stream to its confluence with the Tiraumea river, by the said River to its intersection with the southern boundary of section 174, thence by lines so as to include the last mentioned section, and sections 175 and 61, Block VIII, all in the Mangaone . 3.D. to the point of commencement. | 11. That is to say commencing at the North Eastern corner of Section 61, Block VIII, Mangaone, and proceeding in a .North Easterly direction, bounded by the Pahiatua County to a point from which a line trending Eastwards and bearing 96 degrees magnetic will intersect the Northernmost croner ot Section 48, Block VII, Puketoi. thence by the last mentioned line, by the Northern boundary of said Section 48, by Sections 23, 28, 29, Block VIII, 30. 31,196,195,194, 193, 187, Block XII, 106, Block XV, 173, 184.174, Block XI, 175 Block XV, and by the Western boundary of tho last mentioned section produced through section 151 till it intersects the North west corner of Sectfon 157, Block 11, Mangapakeha, thence by the last mensection and by section 143 in the same block, by the north boundary of the last mentioned section produced till it intersects the Eastern boundary of the College Reserve, thence by part of the said College Reserve by sections 158,157, 156, 155,154,153 Block XIII Puketoi, by another part of the College Reserve to ;the laat mentioned BJock, and Blo'ck XVI Mangaone, by section 78 in the same block by sections 127,122. 121 116, 201, 204, 205, part of the Moroa N. R, by the roads which form the Southern and Eastern boundariesot the township of Alfredton, by sections 11.8, 7, 4, 3, Block XII Mangaone by sections 17,177 178,166, 103, Block IX Puketoi, by the South Eastern boundary of the last mentioned section produced till it intersects the Tiraumea River by the said river to its intersection with the northern boundary of section 53, Block TX, by said section 58. by sections 63, 59, Block V Puketoi, sections 65,64,63, 62, and 61 Block VIII Mangaone to the point of commencement.
