Nominations for all events must be made in writing, addressed to the Secretary at his office, Featherston, and close on TUESDAY, 10th March, at 8 pm. Weights will be declared on THURSDAY, 19th March. Acceptances (excepting No 7) addressed as above, close on TUESDAY, 24th March, at 8 p.m. RULES & REGULATIO NS, 1. All races run at this meeting will be run under the N.Z. rules of racing. 2. No nomination or acceptance will be received after the advertised time of closing under any pretence whatever, or unless accompanied by the necessary amounts. 3. In all nominations for Handicaps the name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, color, sex, and previous performances of the horse, and colors ef rider must ba given. 4. A Hack shall be ahorse that has never started for other than Hack Races and is not at the date of meeting nominated for other than flack Races. Special attention is required to Rule 3. Should any question - arise as to the qualification of any Hack winning at this meeting the stakes may be withheld until the Stewards are satisfied. W. BOOK, 3732 Secretary.
