I P.uiiatua, Wednesday, A meeting of the Pahiatua Town Board was held on Monday night. Present—Messrs Dawson (chairman), Wilson, Bedcole and Naylor. A deputation from the Church of England requested that the south side of Edward titreet bo formed and metalled, and they and the resident? interested would pay half tho co3t. The question was held over till next meeting. Tho Chairman said it was a question of funds. The Board then went into tho question of amending the bye-Jaws, Sevoral amendments wore suggested, and made, and the meeting adjourned till Tuesday night, when sanitary bye-Jaws were framed, the whole to bo submitted for drafting to the Board's solicitor.
