Rifle Association Meeting.

Napieb, Tuesday. The men paraded at 9.80 and on their arrival at the range at Hollow Square formed a guard of honour. The tiring of the first shot was conferred upon Miss Heslop, daughter of the owner of the land on which the range camp is situated, Captain Sommerville sighting the weapon for her. The shot went a little to the right of the bull's eye and when the red disc appeared Miss Heslop was loudly cheered. Captain Sommerville thanked her on behalf of the Association, and Mr Heslop, owner of the property, nudoa few remarks, extending the heartiest welcome to the officers and men.
