CORRESPONDENCE.

Lava Tenaia* [To the Bditor.] Sir—l think your suggestion for the formation of a lawn tennis court on the Park Oval an admirable one, and one which will meet with the approyal of at least that portion of tbe community whioh has in the past taken an interest in the now defunct game of cricket. A club might at once bo formed, and with the kind permission of the Park Trust an asphalt court constructed, which would be a credit to the distriot, and at the same time afford a wholesome recreation for the many in the town who undoubtedly require it. Trusting | that tbe usual obstacle to the success of such an undertaking, want of interest, may be surmounted. I am, &o, Pro Bono Publico.
