Revenue Returns.
Wellington, Tuesday. The following are the Revenue returns for nine months, ending Deer. 31st:—Customs £1,121,089 ; Stamps £401,184; Post and Telegraphs £39,211 ; Property Tax, £211,468Beer _ Duty £41,015 ; Railways! £784,791; Registration etc., fees, £29,903; Marin* £14,101; Miscellaneous £28,202; Territorial £104,597; Land fund, ordinary sales, £85,228; deferred payments, £35,739 ; total, including shillings and pence, £2,898,033. The actual collections are considerably more than the above figures, as the latter only represent moneys brought to account by the Treasury. The accounts for last quarter of the financial year always contain the largest receipts, because the revenue is telegraphed on tin last day, from allparts of the colony .The expenditure for the nine months is well within boundd, and the Treasury officials anticipate the financial results of the year will be uo to.exnectations.
