A meeting of tlieAkitio Board was heldon Thursday'last. Present;— Messrs Ha'ndysido (chairmfln),Harvey, Burling, and Liverton. The minutes of the previous, meeting wero read and coulirined, The treasurer reported balance in Bank, £8512s Id. . totters were read from tlio Property Tax Commissioner, stating that no rates in future would bo paid on Grown Lands,' From Treasury, repayment of subsidy,"'" Prom Property Tax Commissioner, re subsidy paid, ~ .■.:,. From Crown Lands office, ro accrued thirds and fourths, amountiue to 2s 3d. ~. .From Mr John 'Harvey, tendering his resignation as member for the Board,: J ■'■'■■ : :•••■ The' Clerk was directed to apply to the Oounty'Engirieerfor a copy ol the Travels 'Survey of, the Aohanga Valley road—and to got the Kopira cuttiug cleared,' ; flesol.ved.—That theacoruod thirds and fourths be expended on the Aohonga-Valley road, and that Mr Cox be requested to allow a deviation from the' line. of road: lead ing to Messrs Speedy's. Accounts amounting to £sl9s 8d were passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned. ~
