Mangahao, A H Riohmond to E E • Knight, On llio ground of ill-health F Janot received permission to resido off his village homestead seotion at Mangaone, Permission W»s given the holder of section 2, Blook IY, Miliuri, to put on a substitute, and have two more years to complete improvements. The Board decided to give H Axup small frrun !No. 46, Blocks. 11l and VII, Tohangina, until'the end of the year Wo complete the improvements. It *was resolved that J Cavanagli, section 64, Block XII, Mangatogf should havo : tho land forfeited untffl he completed his improvements. Payment of the amount received for improvements effected on section 90, block 11, Eopuaranga, to tho original proprietor was ordered, It was resolved to call upon a number of selectors to show why their interests should not be cancelled, tho necessary improvements hot having been effected, Tho case of W. Hull was deferred until a fuller meeting of the Board, It was resolved that the unsold sections in the Wainuioru Block should bo withdrawn from sale with a view to rcarraugo them, so as to give practicable roads and fencing boundaries. The Board resolved to throw open sections 43,44,45, and 46, block 1., Makuri, under tho village settlement system, on deferred paymont and perpetual lease. It was resolved that the sections in the Wungamii Harbour Board Endowment Block, withdrawn somo time ago, should be for sale by cash at Feilding, at a date to be fixed by the Commissioner. Proposals by thePahiatua County Council for the expenditure of accrued thirds prior to September, 1888, were agreed to.
