TOWN LANDS TRUST.

The ordinary monthly meeting of - the Masterton Town Lands Trust was held last overling in the Chambers, Mr W. Lowes occupying Sm. the chair. Messrs Eton, J, Graham, >»' B. and MoEwen weroj present. Father MoKenna wrote, setting - forth requirements of his sohool and attended to further explain, It • was decided to let this matter stand over until the claims, had been heard, Mr MoEwen moved and Mr Graham, seconded that a special meeting be held on Wednesday, the: 17th inst., to receive the deputation re schools. The motion was lost, The Borough Council applied to tho Trust, asking a contribution towards asphalting tho footpath fronting town aoro 72, Queen-street. Agreed as soon as funds are available. 0.
