The Resident Magistrate's Court was occupied to-day in a case in which Straohan and Co., of Danedin, sued A, Sandel, of thei Star: Hotel, for beer which he found inferior after delivery, and refused to pay for.' Judgment was given for the defendant, with costs amounting to about .£lO, the Kesident Magistrate holding that the beer was inferior, and the attention of the plaintiff was drawn to the matter within reasonable time alter delivery,
