On Saturday last a meeting was held at Featherston of the members of the South Wairarapa Racing Club and of the Wairarapa Jockey Club. After each olub bad separately drawn up terms of amalgamation, a combined meeting was be]d in the Oddfellows' Hjl], when about 60 persons were present, The terms of i agreement were ratified, N and bath clubs blended into one, My J. P. Russell being olpeu and Mr Book seoretary. The best of feeling pervaded the meeting, and all felt that the step will strengthen racing matters in South Wairarapa.
