' A meeting. of the Eketahuns Atbletio Olub was held in' Jones' Temperance Hotel-- 1 yesterday,':'Mr Selby in the chair. , The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed,. A letter was read from the Secretary of the Pahiafua tad, offering to provide twelve playere for the one day's sports for the sum of L 9, coauh hire and refreshments free* It was resolved that Mr ToohilFs' tender for the sum of hi be accepted, if he would provide the band for the day's sports. •It was resolved tha' tenders be called for printing 200 programmes. Messrs Selby, Turnor# and Polling were appointed a sub» Committee to carry out all business k connection with the programme. * > I
