Eotroleum WorksNew Plymouth, Wednesday, •The staff of workmen who oame from America with Mr Booth, the petroleum expert, ''arrived in the Tekapuna, and have taken up their quarters at Moturoa, Mr Booth has decided to sink the first well on the site of tho old locomotive shed near the foot of the breakwater. Preliminary operations have commenced, and it is expected drilling will be started at about the beginning of the year, Tho work will then bo carried on day apd night,
