Owing to clashing with the Christcliurch and Wellington Exhibitions, tho number of pictures is not so large as usual, contributions from artiste in these centres not coming to band ; but tliero are several pictures from Auckland, which a'ro admired. BO? ShOW. CiiMSTomiitou, November, The Canterbury Bog Show was opened to-day with about 200 exhibs, mostly of a good class. Mill, N. Watson, of Gisborne was judge. The whole show is giving general satisfaction. The New Zealend Kennel Club's special prize for the best sporting dog in the show was won by Edward Smith's Clumber spaniel Tiger (Ohristchurch). The Guineas Challenge Cup for collies was won by E. Wark's Britannic. The attendance was very large,
