Mr F H Wood heid his fortnightly Btock sale attho TarataEi yards yesterday, and reports the same as follows. A much larger number of stock was yarded than had been advertised. Wk realised for sheep was considerably in ' excess'of rates ruling at last sale, cattle also commanding better com- r petition and prices. &. considerable number of horses were disposed of, although at very low prices. * - 'lke following is a quotation of puces realised:-Sheep in wool, ewes and lambs 10s 8d to 13s, hoggets 9s ■> to lis; shorn, store wethers 9a 3d to 10s, Fatewes 3s 6d to 10s 6d, storS • do 5s Td to 7s. Cattle, yearling steers and heifers 215.t0 265,.18 months to. " 2 ysajj old steers 43s', hoifers 85s to 40s, cows, dairy 60s to 70a, store do80s .to 455.
