I may state the' office I represent contributes through me and only as late as the last twMr months I have made the follow*!!* ' donations: September 30th, Knripuni Fire Brigade, 8 guineas; Oct. 15th, Volunteer Fire Brigade, 1' . guinea, There are several insurance companies doing abigbusiness besides mine in Masterton and if all contribute on a similar scale, added to the publio subscriptions, the brigades do not fare so badly, I am, &c,, ' Insurance Agent.
