Wellington, Tuesday. The survoyof the Makobine seotion of the Central Trunk southern end is going on, and endeavours aro being made to find a deviation by which the necessity of bridging a great raviiio, 690 feet wide, and 220 deep can be avoided. Tenders are espeoted to be out soon,
