ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Taratalu-Carterton Koad Board was held on Saturday, PresentMessrs E. W, Dorset (in the chair), D, Braithvfaite, 3, Hayner, Q, \Y, Dellcr, W, E, Allen, B, Morgan and N. Graoo, The minutes of the previous meeting wore read and confirmed, The treasurer reported a debit balance of £123 19s 4(1, The Chanman, Mr H. R, Bunny, sent an apology for his absence, also an apology from Mr James Stevens for his absence. The Clerk reported thill the arrangement with Mr Hirchberg, re the road through section 237, Dalefield,was finally settled, It' was resolved that this Board will not" sanctjon the Dalcficld road as proposed bp "the Carterton Borough Council. .
