Miss Ncllio Driscoll gavo a couple of songs in her usual happy sylo, nnd thoy wero thoroughly appreciated by tho audience, The programmo concluded with a series of Ableaux, which scorned to nniiiso sSno of the children, The Ekotalmna Orickot Club will hold a meeting in a few days to arrange for tho coming season. Tho local Athletic Club will hold a mooting in a few days to arrnngo for tho Christmas sport;, A writ has been issued on all tho members of tho Alfredton Licinsing in re Ellison's Kailway Hotel 'Wcense, to bo heard in tho Supromo wurt, Wellington. . A movement is on foot to induce ono of our leading residents to contest tho Mastcrton electorate, I no doubt that ho will receivo a certain number of votes from thoso who believe in his platform, a principal plank in which is that as soap is :i luxury he will, if returnod, do all in his power to prohibit tho manufacture nnd importations of that articlo. Thiß gentleman intends to address the electors of Eketahuna in tho Town Hall in a few days.
