Accidents and Fatalities.
(By Telegraph] ! (United Press' Association.) Hokiiika, Tuesday, John Gorman was. killed by a falling tree at Okarito. A man named Mears met with a similar death at Totara. Auckland, Tuesday, A gnmdigger was killed by a tree falling on his whare, William Godfrey, a free laborer, was drowned by falling from the hulk Neptune. A man attempted to rescue him, but owing to the Btrong tide he had to let go the drowning man.
