Another Ebtabuna Esoltoment, TtyMmLijnatlo, (By Telegram,) (From Our Own Correspondent.) . Eketahuna, Tuesday. Edward Bourke, working on Wolf's contract, attempted suicide last night. ' From particulars to hand it appears that the man had been drinking very heavy lately. Last night lie got hold ot an axo aiid a large knife, The cook detected birn in the act of cutting his throat and gave the alarm. Bourlto rushed at the cook, who defended himself with the cooking utensils-till the' men arrived and overpowered him. Con.B ablo Boche, brought him into Eltotaliuna, where lio was amended to by Dr MoLennan. Tho man will be taken to Maaterton to-day. Dr McLennan states that he.'is not lit to be at large. ' .
