Akitlo Raod Board.
A meeting of the Board was held on Thursday last. Present—Messrs llandysido (chairman), Foremnn,Harvey, and Burling, The minutos of the previous meoting were read and conßtmed.
The Treasurer reported balance in Bank of £IOO Is Bd.
It was resolved that a general rato of one halfpenny in tho £ be struck for the current yoar. Mr Foreman was appointed to sign cheques. .
Tho Chairman with Messrs Foreman and Burling were appointed to meet on Ist of September- to examine and report on tho proposed dray road over bushy range. The " iSter" to receive a share of the Board's work providing their oharges are made same the as the Daily's.
Accounts amounting to £2l Us 6d were examined and passed for payment, Ibe next meeting was fixed for the 18th September,
