After a desperate struggle, he was got into tho cell. Fortunately Mrs Eoohe and the children were at the concert, or surely they would have been injured, as ho would certainly have opened the door, The-man is a stranger whose name is unknown. Ho arrived here a fortnight ago and was working for Johnson Bros., briok. makers. He has evidently been treated for a lunatic before.
