1 SAii ordinary meowing of the Masterton Itoad Board was hold at tho Council Offices; ■Hull street, on Saturday, lho : '26 th. Present—Messrs- W. H. Beetbnm. (Chairman), T. Brown, JR. Dag£>, McLeod and McKentie. Correspondence was received from : Mr A W Cave, To Oie Ore, complain-; that tho gates recently erected on tho road leading from his property at Wangaehu could not be openod by..' a person on horseback.

work. • A letter was received from the Cartorton Eoad Board in reference to a road through Mr Gordon's properly at To "Whiti. Tho Overseer's report was read and adopted. A lettov was, read, thanking Mr Eestham for his exortions in securing aright of road tough sections, Stuckey's. Notice of motion was given to rescind the appointment of the Chairman a3 Treasurer.
