A meeting of tho above Board was bold on Saturday last. PresentMessrs J. ])'. Maunsell (chairman Langdon, Nicholls, and Andrew. Th minutes of tho previous meeting wer read and confirmed. The treasure reported balance in bank L 174 Is Gd. Letters wero read from Mr G. Beotbam, M.H.R, ro rating Native lands. From Property-tax Commi - Bioner re subsidy. From Treasury re interest on loan. It was resolved to givo notico to strike a goneral rate of 8-lGths of a penny in the £ on all rateablo property in the district, and tho meeting adjourned to 80th August,
