A meeting' of the Management Committee of the Wairarapa Bugby Football Union was kid at Carteri ton last evening, representatives of the various clubs in the district being present, It was decjded that the match between tbo first fifteens of Carterton and Masterton, over wbiob there was a protest entorod by the former club, be couuted as a win for Carterton. With regard to the proteat entered by Masterton against the _ Greytown Club allowing F Felling to play in their Cup matoh, it was decided" that as he was a sub stituteonly bis playing was quite ; legal, The dispute between the Te Ore Ore apd Greytown Fire Brigade Clubs was decided in favor of the latter. A letter was read from the Canterbury Union, offering £25 towards tho expenses of a tour of a Wairarapa team to Ohristohurch, and it was resolved to writo to the OtagoUnion and inquire if.they are prepared to make a similar offer, Tho Wellington Union wrote, asking that a date.be fixed for the playing of a representative match in the Wairarapa, and tho .Secretary was instructed to reply that the Qup matches wpujc] be finished about 83rd August. The Secretary was also instructed to writo to the Wellington Union and endeavor to make arrangements for a junior representf*' tive team to play jn Wellington, Theresu||pfad,ww was that the final Junior Cup matoh was fixed for August 2nd at Greytown between the Fire Brigade and tho Bed Stars.
All members of the Star Football I Club are requested to km up to practise on_the Oval to-morrow at 2,30 in view of the approaching Cup matches, The second fifteen will play the final match for the Junior Cup with the Greytown Fire Brigade at Greytown on Saturday week. .Mr Webster has been appointed referee,
