A Daring Robbery.
Caught to tfo Act. - V Auckland, Monday, Howden's jowelltf's sbop in Queen i street to broken into on Saturday afternoon, and over '£7oo worth -of jewellery taken out, On returning on Saturday evening Mr' Hoyfden, through the.window, Bawa man running from behind the counter. A man named Gilbert caught the man comitig out the back, and after a desperato struggle the burglar was arrested with the help'of,the police. The man's name is George McLean, clerk, who it is believed comes from Sydney. The jewellery was made -up n two parcels.
