Mr F.fl, Wood held his lisua fortnightly Stock Sale at the Taralahi yards yesterday. A large quantity of etock of all classes came forward, all Belling readily nndor the hammer, Prices realised for both t'shcop and cattle showed a marked improvement on last sale rates, being as under : • Sheep—Wethers, forward, lOj Gd to 12s 9d; fat ewes, medium, 10s 3d to 9d; storo ewes, 6s Cd to 7s; ewes lamb, 7s 3d to 9s; lambs, good, 8s Cd to 9s; do culls, 5s 3d. Cattle— Fat bullocks, mtdiunc, £4 15s; do heifers, £l ss to £4 10s; fat cows, £3 5s to £3 10s; store cows, 80a to 50s; 2 year old steers, 50s to 675; do heifers, 35s to 42s 6d; yearlings, 245.
