• Messrs.Lowes and loras' fort nightly stock sale report is as follows:—Cattle came forward in excess of the number cataloged, and sold freely under tlio hammer, prices about the same as last sale. Sheep still show an upward tendency, nothing but stores coming forward. Aline of 800 store wethers elicited keen competition,bringiiiglls 4d and and 12s 2d, ewes in lamb from 7s 6d to 8s 8s; oulls, ..8s Jo 5s (id; beef steers, 84s to 87s fld, averaging 14s per 100; store steera, from 50s to 05s; fat cows, ,75,; speyed heifers, low in condition, 84s; store cows, 25s to 82s; yearlings and 18 months old,mixed, 25sto 82s; weaners, 10s to 203. Pigs.—suckers, 4s Od to 7s 6d; stores, 8s : to" 8s Od.' A few horses sold at. low prices.
