Gisborne, June 16. An important poiut was raised by the Native Land Commissioners this morning, The Commissioners adjourned on June 5 until to-day. Owing to the accident to the Te Anau Mr Justice Edwards was unable to be here this morning, and Commissioner Ormaby made an announcement that the Commission would be adjourned ■ until Wednesday. Mr Howortb, fiolioitor, of Wellington, who appears for the Natives, raised the question whether Buoh adjournment could be made, a3 the rules pWe that the Court cm only be ajflrmed by the Commission, i.o, t™ wo Judges, and whether or not the whole proceedings would thus be invalidated. The question was reserved for argument wlion Mr Justice Edwards arrives.
