The ordinary meeting of the above. Board was held on June 7th. ProBent: The Chn'rman and Messrs Maoßae, Rutherford, Miller and Perry. " The minutes ot the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Correspondence was read ;—vFrom Mr K A Nicholls, enclosing * cheque lor half amount of Engineers ' expenses on Mungapurapura line, and applying for the services of the roadman for two weeks as promised; Mr H A Banner re rates; Mr H D Bell re rates; Mr W Beard re rates on Rouse's property; Messrs Cuff & Graham re rates. The following v accounts were passed for payment: Messrs Oaselberg and Co 6s, T. ' Harland L 9, M McGovem L 5 ls6d, Ewington aiid Sons L2 6s.
Kesolved—Tbat Mr Nioholl's ap< plication for tho service of roadman stand over till next meeting;. That a man be engaged to assist the roadman on the. Wauere track. Proposed by Mr Rutherford and seconded by Mr Perry, that notice should be given of the intention of the Board at the next ordinary meeting to strike a general rate in the £on al) the rateable properties of the district. The next meeting of the Board will be held on the first Saturday in July.- ■ - :
