In the Championship football matches on Saturday, Ohristohurch defeated Addington by a goal and a try to a goal; East Christchurch heat Sydneyham by seven points to three; Merivalo defeated Canterbury College by two goals kicked from the field and a try to nil. The College had the best of the game, but the worst of uck.
