Startling Event in a Village.

To tlio Editor of "Saturday Night," Birmingham, I recently camo into possession of a certain facts of so remarkable nature, that I am sure you will bo glad to assist in making these publio. The following letters were .j, Bhown to me, and I at once permission to copy thorn for tho press** They come from a highly responsible source, and may be received without question, Mossage from George James Gostlino, L.D.S,, R,0.5.1,, Ph C.1., A Licentiate in Pharmacy and Dental W Surgeon, Stowmarket, July 18,1889. * To Mr White The enclosed remarkable euro should, 1 think, be printed and circulated In Suffolk. The statement was ontireiv ! markable euro was related to me by tho the husband, Mary Ann Spink, of Finborough, Suffolk, was for over twenty afflicted with rheumatism and neuralgia, and although comparatively a young woman at tho timo sha was attacked (sho is now fifty), she was compelled in consequence, to walk with two stioks, and even then withdifficulty and pain. About a year and a half atro shewas advised to try Mother Seigel'ss ' Syrup, and aftor taking three bottle and two boxes of Seigel's Operating ' Pills, (Ac nst .of her limbs were and she. is now able to walk three miles to t Stowmarkot with ease, frequently doinp the distance in three-quarters q£ an hour,- Any sufferer who doubts thia story can fully ascertain its truthfulness by paying a visit to the village and enquiring of tho villagers, who will certify to tho fact?,

1 Appended is the husband's signature to the statement. (R. Spink.) "G. J, Gosiuso Ipswich Street, , " Stowmarket," This w certainly a very pitiable oase, and the happy euro wrought by tho Bimplo but powerful remedy, must move tho sympathy of all hearts in a common pleasure. This poor woman had heen a cripple for twenty of hor beat years i yoars in which she Bhouldhavo had suoh comfort and enjoyment as lifo' has to jjive, But, on the contrary, bliq was & miserable burdon to horsolf and a souroo , of care to her friends, Now, at an|a?a when the rest of us are growing fcoblo Bho| in a mannor, runows her youth an a most begins a new existence. What a blessing and what a wonder it is I JNo one who knows hor, or who read her story, but will be glad that the good Lord lias enabled men to ■ discover a remody capablo of bringing about a curs that reminds us-we speak it reverently <7;i< the age nf miracles. It should be explained that this most remarkable cure is due to tho fact that rheumatism is a disease of tho blood Indigestion, conization, and dyspepsia cause the poison from tho partially digested food to enter tho circulation and tho blood deposits it in the joints and muscles. This is rheumatism, Seigel's Syrup corrects the digestion, and so stops the further formation and deport of the poison. It then removes from the system the polsoii already there. It is not a cure-all. It does its wonderful work entirely by its myaterious action upon tho disjestiye organs But when we remember that nino-tenths Vf' of our ailments ariso in those organs, wo ■ can understand why Seigel's Syrup cures so many diseases that appear to be so different in their na.ure, In other 4 ords rheumatism and neuralgia are bu symptoms of indigestion,- constipation | and dyspepsia
