Beetham, and B. 8, Hawkins; from Fducation Board, n resignation, of Mr Turkington, Head teacher Tinui School, The chairman stated that the balance sheet for the previous year, which had not been audited in time for the annual meeting of householders, was now to hand, and he hoped it - would be published, pro bono publico. It was as follows ;•- Eeoeipts.—Balance Ist June 1889 £ll2s 4d; Education grants £8; Balance 9s 2d; Total £lO b6d. . Expenditure,—Gleaning School, £2 19s; Fuel for school use £2; Books, maps elo, £8 3s; Salary of sewing mistresa,l£2; Stationery, 2/6, Total £lO la6d. ■Mr Geor»e Beetham, M.Hi E,, was chosen to fill the vacant seat on the Education Board,
